Before formation, all three of the principles had recorded on the excellent Swedish label Häpna, and were already fans of each other’s work. In Spring 2009, Belfi and Pilia arrived in NYC for a residency at Harlem Studio Fellowship; shortly thereafter, the three formed a power trio of drums and guitars, plus piano, electronics, percussion and voice. They have two albums on Blue Chopsticks.
